2024 Teams

ProHybrid Have 3 Teams at Each Birth Year for the 2024 Season

All players will be rostered to the respective "Division" at their age group. Example: All 2011s are roster to the 2011 Division. Then they will also be rostered to 1 of 3 teams: Elite. Bulls or Hawks.

Official tryouts for our program happen in September. 90% of our players are selected at this time. Some players are clearly set for specific team within ProHybrid.  We also understand that a great deal of development happens between tryouts in September and the start of April. With that in mind, we evaluate players throughout the winter to make sure they are rostered for the right team based on their progress

Final rosters for the Elite, Bulls and Hawks teams for the spring phase will come in early March before our AAA seasons starts.  

Elite

  • Players are top level level players in their respective winter teams. 
  • Competes on a national level. In most cases, teams will travel out of state for multiple tournaments per season. 
  • Depending on the Birth Year our elite teams may play up a level in local events. Example: 2010 Elite playing 2009AAA or 2013 Elite playing 2012 AAA

AAA Bulls

  • The Bulls are our upper AAA level squad. In past years we have call this level simply "ProHybrid AAA".
  • These teams are at or near the top end of the Twin Cities AAA level teams.
  • Players compete at AA, A or Top B1 levels during their winter seasons. 

AAA Hawks

  • The Hawks are a new level for the 2024 season. They are replacing our GRRIT program.
  • ProHybrid Hawks are coached in practice and in games soley by our ProHybrid Staff and share ice with our AAA Bulls teams for all practices.
  • The Hawks are our foundation level AAA team. Players compete at B1 or Upper B2 level during their winter seasons. 
  • Most importantly we are looking for players with a growth mindset that work hard and strong desire to improve their skills.
