Registration is an open process to players born between 2017-2020. We group kids with their peers in order for everyone to train in a fun, competitive and positive environment. Checkout all the details below and find registration at the bottom of the page.
ProHybrid Mite Dev Is Where It All Starts!
We are excited to announce our 9th season of the ProHybrid Mite Development Program! During this time over 400+ young hockey players have participated in our Mite Dev Program. For the 2026 season we are expanding to 2 full groups which reduce the total kids on the ice for each session and give us the ability to ensure all players train within in their peer group.
ProHybrid Mite Dev is great for both boys and girls that are looking to:
- Build Confidence Learning Hockey Skills
- Play Hockey w/ Friends & Meet New Ones
- Develop Passion for Hockey
- Have a Bunch of Fun
Mite Dev is our onboarding program that is awesome for establishing a strong foundation of individual skill as well as cultivating a competitive nature during small area games and battle drills. The kids love it! Many players do ProHybrid Mite Dev for 1-2 seasons then advance to a Full ProHybrid Division Team afterwards.
When and Where?
The Mite Development Season runs in 2 phases with a break between:
- Phase 1: March 30 - May 20
- Break: May 21 - Aug 2
- Phase 2: July 27 - August 24
Practices are 2 weeknights per week (M/W) at the M Health Fairview SportsCenter in Woodbury as follows:
- March 30
- April 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27
- May 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20
- July 27, 29
- August 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24
Who?
- Head Coaches: Zach Sikich and ProHybrid Lead Instructors
- Asst Coaches: ProHybrid Mentors that have been in our program 6+ years. Additionally, we'll have a few parents with coaching experience on ice helping out. If you are interested in helping out on ice please email us for details.
- Player's Ages: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020
- Roster Size: We will have 2 groups with 32 skaters per session. We will form teams from this pool of players and they will compete with and against each other throughout the season.
All ProHybrid Mite Development Players Will Receive:
- 24 total hours of on ice training
- Practices will take place in Woodbury
- Apparel Pack including shirt and shorts or Hoodie / Joggers
- Jersey & Socks
- Cost: $1395 (pay in full or with 3 installments)
