What is ProHybrid Squirt Development?

We created ProHybrid Squirt Development in order to offer dedicated young players consistent and focused training with elite ProHybrid coaching. Our goal is to offer players that did not receive an invite to play on one of our ProHybrid AAA teams the opportunity to still get great coaching in order to build confidence in their individual skills as well as their understanding of the full ice game.

With 70-90+ players trying out at each birth year, it is very challenging to make one of our AAA squads. We realize that players all develop at different rates and have varying levels of experience. We fully expect that some ProHybrid Squirt Development players will grow their skills and earn spots on ProHybrid AAA Teams in future years.

2 Ice Sessions Per Week: Tuesday and Thursdays

Training Days: will focus on a combo of individual skills and team concept training such as D zone coverage, odd man line rushes plus breakouts / regroups.

Game Days: Full Ice 5v5 Hockey Games in a controlled setting with feedback from coaches on the benches as well as on the ice. Coaches can stop plays with the whistle in order to teach key points with instant feedback

Why Sign Up For Squirt Development?

Your player will receive the same elite level coaching that our AAA teams get but in an environment where he / she is surrounded by peers and be able to make an impact on the game. Making an impact on the game and having the puck on their stick is the absolute key to success and progress in hockey.

ProHybrid Squirt Development is a fun, focused and high accountability culture. Also players will have their weekends available to possibly play in AAA tournaments and join other programs if they desire. Finally, if spots open up with our Hawks team, we will call up the top Squirt Development players to fill the roster spot.

Who Is Eligible?

ProHybrid Squirt Development players for this coming AAA season will be players born between June 1 2015 and May 31 2017. Essentially they will be squirt eligible for the 2026-27 winter hockey season. We also consider older 2015s and younger 2017s if they are still at the foundation level and within the peer group of other players in our program.

Further Details

Timeline of the Season: We run our program in two phases with time off in between:

Phase 1: March 30 - May 20
Break: End of May-End of July
Phase 2: August 4 - August 27

Total On Ice Training: 24 hours

Roster: Total 30 skaters and 4 goalies on the ice will be divided into 2 teams for each session.

Apparel / Gear Pack: 2 Jerseys, Socks + Hoodie and Joggers

Cost: $1495...installment plan is available.
